Conversion of Asbury Church into Righteous Babe Headquarters, Music Venue, & Contemporary Arts Center

This landmark project in downtown Buffalo, NY involved the complete restoration of a historic church into a performing arts center for locally-born artist Ani DiFranco.

Highlights of the exterior work included a new slate roof, re-pointing of all the North Tower, reconstruction of the South Tower and restoration of stained glass. The interior was completely renovated and restored.

Other highlights include a new geothermal heating and cooling system and a new glass stairway addition. Additionally, the entire existing basement was excavated to create more usable space within the building footprint.
